PAUL PHOENIX

Paul Phoenix is a video game character from the Tekken fighting game series. He is a staple of the series and is content with proving that no one can match his strength.
Paul also appears in the Namco game Urban Reign along with his friend, Marshall Law. He is unlocked by completing challenge mode.

History
Rolling through his opponents one-by-one, Paul felt excited at the prospects of facing Kazuya Mishima, whom he had not faced in over 20 years. However, he once again found Kuma standing in his way. His mind distracted, Paul did not take Kuma seriously at first, and by the time he realized his mistake, he was quickly overwhelmed by the bear and defeated. His loss to Kuma shamed Paul greatly, and he realized he had strayed from the path of a true martial artist and started his training all over again. When the fifth tournament was announced, Paul entered to prove that he is, literally, "the toughest fighter in the universe".

Endings
The scene opens with a Space Colony. Inside, Paul has a dojo with the sign "Bring it on ya aliens" painted on it. Inside, he practices his moves, finishing with a powerful punch through a brick wall (with an alien drawing stuck on it). He yells out "Any time! Any place! Bring it on, ya aliens!" as alien saucers begin surrounding the colony.

Trivia
The Chinese character on Paul's red outfit means "Red". While supposedly he fights Judo, Paul's fighting style is more a hard-hitting style of Karate, but he has some Judo throws that varies according to the angle of execution. Using the standard clinching buttons will make him perform a Tobi Juji Gatame or an Ippon Seoinage. A throw performed from an opponent's left side will result in an Ude Gaeshi, a throw performed on the opponent's right will result in an O Soto Gari and a Hip throw will be the result of a throw from the rear of the opponent. Paul is one of only four Tekken characters (the others being Heihachi Mishima, Nina Williams, and Yoshimitsu) to have appeared in every game in the series. Marshall Law's Tekken 2 ending showed Paul attempting to perform Marshall's "somersault kick" move, and he failed miserably. Come Tekken 3, Paul apparently hadn't progressed at all with the move, but he still incorporated the move into his moveset, performed by holding Down for 3 seconds, then press Up along with RP, LK, and RK. He attempts to perform the move in one of his victory animations in Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection but fails at that as well
