History
Roger is a kangaroo made by Doctor Boskonovitch for the same purpose as Alex. After the second tournament, Jun Kazama later arranged for him and Alex to live out their lives in Australia.
Roger was kidnapped before Tekken 5, and his son, Roger Jr, enters The King of Iron Fist Tournament 5, aided by his mother, to save him. He is sent through the roof of the lab by his son in Roger Jr.'s ending after he found out that the reason that Roger was "abducted" was so that he could watch television for the rest of his life.

Trivia
Roger and Roger Jr. are obvious allusions to the Boxing Kangaroo sporting symbol. Many moves and every victory sign that both Roger and Roger Jr. have are taken from King I and King II. This may be because Roger, Roger Jr's father, was taught how to fight by Armor King, and Roger may have taught his son (and wife) his skills. In Roger Jr.'s ending in Tekken 5, you can see that his father is watching Ling Xiaoyu's Tekken 3 ending. Roger's wife, a female transgenic kangaroo, is unnamed at this time. Roger appears in the Tekken anime. He punches out Lei Wulong. According to Doctor Boskonovitch, he is the prototype to Alex. In Tekken 5, after the player defeats Mokujin, Roger Jr.'s Stage Four sub-boss, at Stage 4, their conversation is almost identical to Jin Kazama and Hwoarang's conversation after Jin defeats Hwoarang.
